Air Force picks DCS subsidiary for multi-domain research

A subsidiary of DCS Corp. will provide the Air Force research-and-development services under a pair of contracts worth $243.1 million.
The Air Force has picked an employee-owned company for a pair of research-and-development contracts focused on multi-domain operations.
InfoScitex Corp., a subsidiary of DCS Corp., topped three other bidders for the contracts that have a combined $243.1 million ceiling.
One contract for Aerospace Systems Technology Development and Assessment Aerospace Technology Development and Testing. They’ll conduct research, development and demonstration of transformative aerospace capabilities and multi-domain operations, according to the Defense Department’s contract digest.
Dayton, Ohio-headquartered InfoScitex will provide modeling, simulation and analysis. The first task order will be for control automation research.
The second contract is for multi-domain modeling, simulation and analysis and will focus on tool development and analysis. Two tasks have been awarded so far, one for high-speed operations and analysis research and a second for multi-domain technology simulation-based engineering.
Work will take place at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
DCS is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.
