Cognosante appoints new CFO
Cognosante hires a new chief financial officer that was most recently the CFO at 1901 Group.
Cognosante has hired a new chief financial officer in Steve Hamric, a two-decade market veteran and most recently CFO at 1901 Group.
Hamric helped lead the sale of 1901 Group to Leidos and succeeds now-former Cognosante CFO Kevin Mostek, who has moved over to lead the newly-created corporate development team.
“(Hamric) complements our strong growth culture, and his impressive track record of scaling businesses makes him the right choice to lead our finance organization as we accelerate growth,” Cognosante founder and CEO Michele Kang said in a release Monday.
Prior to 1901 Group, Hamric was CFO of TeraThink Corp. and helped that company through its sale to CGI Group. He is also a former CFO of iGov and Athena Technologies, the latter of which was acquired by Rockwell Collins in 2008.
