ManTech, BAE make leadership team appointments
Two of the government market’s leading systems integrators make appointments to their respective management teams.
Two of the government market’s leading systems integrators have made appointments to their respective management teams, both announced Monday.
Appointment number one comes from ManTech, which has brought onboard three-decade market veteran and former IBM executive Joseph Cubba as chief growth officer.
Cubba will report to Chief Operating Officer Matt Tait, whilst being responsible for ManTech’s strategic growth priorities to further drive financial performance and customer relationship development.
At IBM, Cubba was most recently senior partner and vice president for its defense and intelligence business. He worked with clients on initiatives related to artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, hybrid cloud adoption and enterprise IT.
Major hire number two is out of BAE Systems Inc., which has promoted 13-year company veteran Lisa Hand to vice president and general manager of its integrated defense solutions business.
Hand will lead an organization of more than 2,600 employees that provide engineering, integration, and sustainment services to customers.
Prior to this elevation, Hand led the IDS business’ mission solutions line.
BAE is touting her areas of expertise as including systems engineering, integration, cybersecurity, test and evaluation, operations, and maintenance and logistics.
