CGI Federal appoints new president

CGI Federal has promoted 25-year company veteran Stephanie Mango to the role of president as its current leader Tim Hurlebaus shifts into a new position within the larger CGI enterprise.

Transition activities take effect immediately, CGI said Monday. Mango will lead a business with 7,000 employees that work with more than 85 federal agencies.

Mango was most recently senior vice president and head of CGI Federal’s business unit focused on security, assistance, justice and health programs. She also oversaw the acquisitions and subsequent integrations of Sunflower Systems and TeraThink.

In the meantime, Hurlebaus has been appointed president of commercial and state government operations for CGI the parent company. He succeeds Dave Henderson, who is now president of CGI’s global intellectual property solutions organization.

CGI generated 13.8 percent of its revenue from U.S. federal work in the company’s last fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 2020.
