Booz Allen grows defense leadership team

Booz Allen Hamilton brings back one of its former employees in Matice Wright-Springer, who joins the leadership team in the firm's defense group.
Booz Allen Hamilton has brought back a former employee to join its executive ranks in Matice Wright-Springer, a nearly three-decade defense sector veteran.
In a release Tuesday, Booz Allen said Wright-Springer has rejoined the firm as a partner and senior vice president in the global defense group as part of its aerospace account.
She will lead Booz Allen’s efforts on the Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control environment to help the Defense Department connect all forces to distributed sensors and data via all domains.
Wright-Springer will broadly support the defense business through leadership over the design and execution of new solutions and integrated platforms for use in contested environments.
She holds the distinction of having served as the U.S.’ first African-American female naval flight officer and subsequently has served in leadership roles in national security services, policy, government and corporate responsibility, and IT. Her first stint at Booz Allen was as a senior associate and program manager.
Her most recent private sector roles were as vice president of government and corporate responsibility at ManTech and a VP position at L3Harris Technologies, where she led an $800 million products and services division.
Wright-Springer has also served in the government’s Senior Executive Service as a principal director in DOD’s Office of Manufacturing and Industrial Base Policy and as a White House Fellow.
