CACI pushes back after losing contract to support relocation program

CACI International has lodged a protest with the Government Accountability Office after losing a $35.9 million contract to Telos to support a relocation program in South Korea.

CACI is claiming the Army didn’t conduct a proper evaluation when it looked proposals for an Alliant 2 task order to support the Yongsan Relocation Program/Land Partnership plan.

Yongsan is a massive effort to move most U.S. forces from facilities in the Seoul metropolitan areas to areas south of the city. The overall program is worth some $10.7 billion and is nearly complete.

The U.S. Army has moved most of its operations from the Yongsan Garrison to the new Camp Humphreys, which will house 42,000 soldiers and dependents.

CACI filed its protest Dec. 28 and a decision is expected from GAO by April 7.
