ASRC retains $212M NASA research contract
ASRC Federal keeps a $212 million NASA contract to support research efforts across multiple directorates.
Arctic Slope Regional Corp.'s federal subsidiary will continue to support NASA’s research and education efforts under a new $212 million contract.
ASRC Federal has been providing the support services for the NASA Research and Education Support Services team since at least 2015 when its Arctic Slope Technical Services business won the contract.
This time it is ASRC Federal’s Agile Decision Sciences unit that won the five-year contract. Known as NRESS II, the contract supports research efforts at four NASA directorates -- Aeronautics Research Mission, Human Exploration and Operation Mission, Science Mission, and the Space Technology Mission.
The contract is also used to support the NASA Office of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Engagement.
“Earning the opportunity to be an ongoing part of this important mission for NASA is very gratifying,” Jennifer Felix, ASRC Federal’s president and CEO, said in a statement.
The company will provide professional support services, IT support and other related services.
Agile Decision Sciences was one of two bidders on the contract, according to procurement documents available at Deltek.
