Paradyme opens lab to build innovation culture

Paradyme Management has created a research and innovation arm based in a new Northern Virginia offices.

Paradyme Labs will be an innovation hub as well as an operating unit of the company aiding in collaboration, recruiting, training, sales and engineering.

The company wants to create what it calls a “lab-centric culture” that will support the new era of automated IT. Paradyme is focused on development, security and operations convergence for its federal customers.

"We are at a turning point in government IT due to the fact that automation is speeding up the pace of products and solutions implementation by about tenfold, or more depending on the customer need,” said Luther McGinty, chief technology officer of Paradyme Management, in a release.

The company sees DevSecOps as a game changer in the way government solutions are developed.

“To help government achieve this kind of change, we realized that a significant, ongoing commitment to R&D is absolutely required – not just as an add-on to an organization, but as part of the core of operations as well as our culture,” McGinty said.

The new office in McLean, Virginia has close to 4,000 square feet and will house about 20 employees that are currently working remotely because of COVID-19 restrictions. But they anticipate returning to the office in the first quarter of 2021.
