Redwire adds new growth chief

Space tech outfit Redwire continues to stand up its executive team with the hire of Al Tadros, a longtime veteran of Maxar.

Space technology company Redwire has hired three-decade government market veteran and former Maxar executive Al Tadros as chief growth officer.

Tadros officially joined Redwire on Monday and will oversee business development strategies in addition to his responsibilities for advancing development and increasing adoption, the component maker said Tuesday.

Redwire is backed by private equity firm AE Industrial Partners, which formed the company by merging two other businesses and has subsequently supported one acquisition since.

Most recently, Tadros was vice president of space infrastructure and civil space at Maxar. He spent 26 years at that company and its predecessor businesses.
