ASRC Federal wins the $338 million recompete of its contract for broad IT services at one of NASA's main research centers.

ASRC Federal has won the potential $338 million recompete of a contract for broad IT services at NASA’s Ames Research Center in California.

This fourth iteration of the Ames Consolidated IT Services contract has an initial base year followed by four individual option years and starts on Sept. 1 with a 60-day base period, NASA said Friday.

Work not only supports missions at Ames and other NASA facilities but is available to additional agencies such as the Defense Department, Federal Aviation Administration and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Greenbelt, Maryland-based ASRC Federal first won the work in 2013 as a takeaway from the former Dell Perot Systems, according to Deltek data. The current contract expires Aug. 31.
