Find opportunities — and win them.

Parsons Corp.'s board of directors grows to 10 members with the additions of a former Raytheon executive and retired Transportation Command chief.

Parsons Corp.’s board of directors has added two new members in Dave Wajsgras and Darren McDew, respectively a former Raytheon executive and retired Air Force General.

The elections of Wajsgras and McDew increase Parsons’ board to having 10 members, according to a regulatory filing Friday. Wajsgras will serve on the audit and compensation committees, while McDew will sit on the compensation and corporate governance and responsibility committees.

These appointments come nearly two months after former National Geospatial Intelligence Agency Director Letitia Long joined the Parsons board.

Wajsgras was president of the former Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services business that was absorbed into the now-Raytheon Technologies after merging with United Technologies Corp. in April. He is also a former chief financial officer for Raytheon and joined the board of Altamira Technologies earlier in June.

McDew’s 36-year military career culminated with service as commander of Transportation Command. He also is a former military aide to the president and vice director for strategic plans and policy at the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
