CenturyLink takes second NASA EIS award
CenturyLink has expanded its footprint at NASA by winning another EIS task order to provide network services.
CenturyLink has won a second NASA EIS task order; this time to provide NASA’s headquarters with core backbone network services.
In 2019, the company won the very first Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions task order: an $11.4 million deal for network services.
EIS is the General Services Administration’s massive telecommunications contract with nine carriers competing for task orders.
The new task order is worth $10 million over the first 17 months, but it also has four two-year options, giving it an over nine-year term.
With the two NASA task orders, CenturyLink is providing NASA with agency-wide voice services and it runs the agency’s regional network that connects the space centers and regional research facilities with agency headquarters.
