E/3 Sentinel stands up a new board of advisers to help steer its strategy of further climbing the middle tier.

E3/Sentinel has stood up a new board of advisers to help steer the government services company’s strategy in seeking to climb further up the market’s middle tier.

In a release Tuesday, the company said it formed the board in the wake of three new appointments that include former Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan.

Former IBM federal executive Luanne Pavco and Bravo Group Communications President Topper Ray have also joined the board. Ray is also known for his service as a press aide to then-president George H.W. Bush.

“Our advisory board will help us ensure we are always utilizing and developing the right mission skills and capabilities for our clients,” E3/Sentinel CEO Andy Maner said in a release. “These three individuals also add strong mission and culture complements to our teams as well as unique and recognized eminence given their accomplishments in federal government and their knowledge of best practices in the commercial space. They will provide valuable insights and deep networks of expertise and knowledge as we continue our momentum as a leading middle market mission-focused, service driven solutions company.”

McLean, Virginia-based E3/Sentinel within the past year also made a pair of key additions to its board of directors in former intelligence community executive Sue Gordon and retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Kevin McLaughlin.
