DLT appoints new president
Now an arm of Tech Data, DLT Solutions promotes one of its own executives to be the subsidiary's president.
Now a subsidiary of Tech Data, public sector IT product reseller DLT Solutions has promoted one of its own executives in Chris Wilkinson to president.
Wilkinson will lead DLT and Tech Data’s combined public sector strategy and oversee the subsidiary’s day-to-day operations, DLT said Thursday.
Also an IT product distributor, Tech Data acquired DLT in late 2019 to further scale up in the public sector market and particularly in federal after several years on the sidelines. DLT gained more resources through the transaction and a wider base of technologies to sell to agencies.
Most recently, Wilkinson was senior vice president of sales for DLT and was responsible for expanding the company’s footprints in cybersecurity, cloud computing, enterprise platforms and IT infrastructure. He joined DLT in 2017 as vice president of sales.
He is also an 11-year veteran of immixGroup, where he focused on enhancing the technical fluency of that company’s employees and managing both its lead generation and new client expansion efforts.
