Find opportunities — and win them.

Octo brings onboard a two-decade market veteran to lead its federal health IT business.

Octo has hired former two-decade government market veteran CACI International executive Charlie McQuillan as executive vice president for the federal health IT business.

Reston, Virginia-based Octo said Tuesday it gave McQuillan organizational management responsibilities and input in the company’s corporate strategic planning and operations functions.

McQuillan was most recently a senior vice president at CACI. His career has included roles with respect to human capital management, health and media services.

This is Reston, Virginia-based Octo’s second major leadership appointment since it received an investment from private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners in April of last year.

In October, Octo hired nearly two-decade market veteran and former Booz Allen Hamilton executive Harold Poston as vice president of defense accounts.
