LinQuest names Greg Young COO
LinQuest promotes one of its own executives in Greg Young to a new C-level position.
LinQuest Corp. said Wednesday it has promoted nine-year company veteran Greg Young to chief operating officer in a move effective Nov. 1.
Young will oversee efforts to broaden the space systems integrator’s corporate development strategy for pursuing new markets and customers, along with recruiting and retaining talent.
This is LinQuest’s second major executive-level appointment since the Los Angeles-based company was acquired last year by private equity firms Madison Dearborn and CoVant, which was proceeded by the hire of former Scitor Corp. President Tim Dills as CEO.
Dills told WT in August that looking for acquisitions is on the agenda for LinQuest and its owners.
Young joined LinQuest in 2010 and most recently was vice president and general manager of the company’s operational systems support solutions group. He will continue to be based at LinQuest’s office in Colorado Springs.
