ECS keeps $484M Army unclassified network contract

ECS Federal has won a five-year, $484.7 million contract to continue helping the Army manage a secure unclassified network that supports collaboration and sharing of information between users.

The Army received two proposals in total for the contract out of 22 bids solicited, according to the Defense Department’s Friday awards digest.

Fairfax, Virginia-based ECS -- the government technology segment of ASGN -- has supported the Army’s Secure Unclassified Network Infrastructure for nearly two years under both a predecessor contract and another companion program involving enclaves, according to Deltek data.

SUNet is a system for U.S. military, other federal government agencies and international coalition partners to exchange publicly-available information and “For Official Use Only” data.

ECS’ tasks include management, development, updates, integration, testing, deployment and maintenance work.
