SPA makes deal to grow research offerings

Systems Planning and Analysis has acquired decision support services company Veracity Forecasting and Analysis to add more operations research and data science work for agencies.

Terms of the transaction were undisclosed. Alexandria, Virginia-based SPA also sought Veracity’s offerings in modeling and simulation and predictive analytics.

Veracity is also headquartered in Alexandria and brings to SPA a prime position on the current iteration of the Navy’s Seaport contract vehicle for broad acquisition and professional support services.

Squire Patton Boggs LLP was legal adviser to SPA and Holland and Knight LLP acted in the same role for Veracity.
