Smartronix takes $72.4M Navy IT contract

Smartronix will provide information management and IT support services to the Navy under a $72.4 million contract.

Smartronix has won a $72.4 million contract to supply information management and IT support services to the Navy at two locations in California.

The contract covers the analysis, design, development, integration, test, deployment and operations of IT systems and services. Work includes help desk, software engineering, financial and business applications, server operations, application hosting, desktop, audiovisual and video teleconferencing support services.

Smartronix will provide these services out of Navy facilities at China Lake and Point Mugu, both in California. The contract runs through March 2024.

The company won the contract over five other bidders.
