Fed 100 nominations coming to a close

Judging takes place this weekend, so all Federal 100 Award submissions must be in by 6 p.m. ET on Friday, Jan. 25.

The shutdown might roll on but the time has come to close the nomination process for FCW's Federal 100 Awards.

The team at FCW held open the nomination process as long as they could, but the partial government shutdown has lasted far longer than most anyone thought possible.   Judging for the 2019 Fed100 takes place this weekend, so all submissions must be in by 6 p.m. ET on Friday, Jan. 25.

That's a mere hours away but it isn't too late, shutdown or no shutdown.

If you have a nomination that's awaiting final sign-off from a furloughed supporting nominator, please consider submitting it as-is with a note about that challenge.  The online nomination form is here, and you can find detailed guidelines at FCW.com/2019fed100.

The current shutdown is an unwelcome reminder of the many obstacles that members of the federal IT community must sometimes overcome.  Please make sure it doesn't keep the best of those individuals from getting the recognition they deserve.
