ADS Federal created through small business merger

Two small businesses have merged to create a larger player in the federal market.

Technical Services Corp., a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business and an 8(a) small business is acquiring Accelerated Development and Support Corp.

The new entity will be called ADS Federal and will retain TSC’s SDVO and 8(a) statuses, according to the company. TSC CEO Angel Diaz will continue to lead the organization.

Major customers include the State Department, Office of Naval Research, Energy Department and the Homeland Security Department. ADS brings to the table more Defense Department customers.

“Their reputation and experience with the DOD customer are the perfect match for our veteran-heavy workforce,” Diaz said.

ADS Federal will have 120 combined people supporting the company’s core competencies around advanced scientific and engineering expertise in weapons development, unmanned aerial systems and autonomy. The combined company also has capabilities around project management, IT and science and technology development.
