Leidos' defense head to leave company

Leidos’ defense and intelligence group president Timothy Reardon will depart the company, according to a regulatory filing Thursday.

Reardon notified the company on July 27 that he would resign his position “to pursue other business interests” and his departure is effective Aug. 10, Leidos said in the filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

He joined Leidos through its 2016 merger with the former Lockheed Martin IT business, where prior to that transaction he was a vice president and general manager.

Reardon was a CIA officer for 10 years before he joined Lockheed.
