Cornerstone Defense adds former ManTech exec Varner to board

Cornerstone Defense has appointed industry veteran Bill Varner to its board of directors eight months after he retired from ManTech International.

Hanover, Maryland-based Cornerstone sought Varner's experience in the defense and intelligence markets as it looks to accelerate growth, CEO Chris Goodrich said in a release Monday.

Varner retired from ManTech in December of last year from his role as president of its mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group. Prior to ManTech, he held a three-decade career at TASC.
