Defense technology company OGSystems promotes former executive partners Aarish Gokaldas and Lorinda Ayling to C-level roles.

Defense technology company OGSystems has promoted a pair of its former executive partners in Aarish Gokaldas and Lorinda Ayling to C-level roles.

Gokaldas has become chief growth officer and Ayling was appointed chief services officer in moves that take effect immediately, the Chantilly, Virginia-based company said Thursday.

Prior to this appointment, Gokaldas was executive partner responsible for OGSystems' initiatives in ISR engineering, intelligence and security operations and geospatial analytics.

In her new role, Ayling will spearhead OGSystems' internal people-focused services and effort to ensure customer outcomes are maximized with the company's services and software platforms. She more recently was executive partner for people and helped oversee talent acquisition, human resources, marketing and communications functions.

This pair of appointments comes nearly six months after OGSystems announced Garrett Pagon, co-founder and former president, would become CEO as fellow co-founder and former chief executive Omar Balkissoon would transition to a spinoff of the company.

OGSystems spun out GeoSpark Analytics to commercialize a geospatial analytics platform for government and commercial sectors.
