Accenture Federal adds Bryan Rich as analytics, AI lead

Find opportunities — and win them.

Accenture Federal Services hires Novetta Solutions executive Bryan Rich as managing director of analytics and artificial intelligence.

Accenture Federal Services has hired former Novetta Solutions executive Bryan Rich as managing director of analytics and artificial intelligence.

Rich will oversee the AFS' business work with federal agencies to integrate AI tools into applied technology solutions and services, Accenture said Monday.

He will also lead data science and technology teams to build new design, architecture and project management offerings in areas such as automation and machine learning.

At Novetta, Rich more recently was senior vice president of analytics strategy. Rich joined Novetta in 2014 upon its acquisition of Global News Intelligence, a sentiment and influence analytics company he founded in 1999.

AFS is not the only contractor to make an AI-specific executive appointment in recent months as agencies look to increasingly bring in automation and analytics technologies.

NCI Inc. hired CrossChx co-founder Brad Mascho in January as chief artificial intelligence officer. NCI is the exclusive partner of CrossChx in the federal market to offer the latter's "Shai" AI solution to agencies.
