Navy taps six for $240M ISR services contract

Six companies have won places on a potential five-year, $240.4 million contract vehicle to perform engineering support services for Navy intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms.

Awardees will vie for task orders to carry out development, technical, management and engineering work. The Navy received eight total bids for the contract that has two base years and a three-year option period, the Defense Department said in its Wednesday awards digest.

Each winner has a different base value and ceiling. Contract details are as follows:

• Booz Allen Hamilton: base value $16.4 million, ceiling value $42.3 million
• General Dynamics: base value $15.6 million, ceiling value $40.3 million
• Leidos: base value $15.7 million, ceiling value $40.3 million
• Lockheed Martin: base value $14.9 million, ceiling value $38.7 million
• Science Applications International Corp.: base value $17.2 million, ceiling value $44 million
• Solute: base value $13.3 million, ceiling value $34.5 million

Booz Allen, GD and SAIC will continue their incumbent work. Leonardo DRS and Northrop Grumman are incumbents on the previous contract not selected for the new iteration, according to Deltek data. The previous contract expired Nov.28, 2017.

Solicitation documents list platforms of focus as including maritime and littoral area surveillance technologies, plus any robotic or unmanned subsurface, surface or air vehicle that could be used in maritime or littoral area surveillance operations.
