Lockheed names energy exec Hollub to board

Lockheed Martin adds Occidental Petroleum Corp. CEO Vicki Hollub to the defense contractor’s board of directors.
Hollub has led Occidental for two years and is a three-decade veteran of the company in several management and technical positions.
Lockheed Martin said Tuesday it has added Occidental Petroleum Corp. CEO Vicki Hollub to the defense contractor’s board of directors in a move to take effect July 2.
Houston-based Occidental is an oil and natural gas exploration and production company with operations in the U.S., Middle East and Latin America.
Lockheed CEO Marillyn Hewson said in a release the company sought her experience in the Middle East and other regions to help grow the company’s international business that accounted for 30 percent of its total sales last year.
