Technica hires Cabrey as CFO

Technica hires two-decade government services veteran Mark Cabrey as its chief financial officer.

Dulles, Virginia-based Technica Corp. said Tuesday it has hired almost two-decade government services market veteran Mark Cabrey as chief financial officer.

Cabrey joins Technical from Phacil, where he was its first CFO and held that role for four years. He later became president and chief operating officer at Phacil.

Prior to Phacil, he was corporate controller at the former Apptis and helped lead its sale to URS Corp. in 2011. He then moved to URS and was vice president of finance and corporate controller for its federal services business.

Technica was founded in 1991 and provides systems engineering and other IT services to defense, intelligence, law enforcement and federal civilian agencies. The company's main technology focus areas include artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, blockchain and high-performance computing.
