Altamira hires Unisys vet Fontecilla as CTO
Altamira Technologies appoints former Unisys executive Rod Fontecilla as chief technology officer.
Altamira Technologies said Tuesday it has hired former Unisys executive Rod Fontecilla as chief technology officer.
Fontecilla will lead Altamira's innovation programs and new technology assessments, as well as the defense IT contractor's communities of practice. He will report directly to Chairman and CEO Ted Davies.
At Unisys, Fontecilla built and led the global IT giant's data analytics practice. Altamira says his career also includes leadership over programs involving application modernization, cloud computing development and migration, and cybersecurity.
His career prior to Unisys includes 15 years at Booz Allen Hamilton.
