CSRA has won a three-year, $158 million Veterans Affairs Department task order to convert at least 7 million health records of veterans into a digital format.
The company is working to help the VA shift from a paper-based claims process to an electronic system through the Intake Conversion Mail Handling Services contract, CSRA said Monday.
ICMHS was awarded to CSRA predecessor company SRA International and Leidos in December 2015 under the VA’s potential $12 billion Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology contract vehicle, according to Deltek.
CSRA inherited its position on T4 via SRA, which merged with the former Computer Sciences Corp. U.S. government business in late 2015 to create CSRA.
The VA awarded a similar order to CSRA in early 2016 under ICMHS for the company to support the digitization of disability claims. That order has a potential $233 million value over up to five years including options.
CSRA will perform work under the latest order at the VA’s Records Management Center in St. Louis.
