Senate looking for innovation around identity and security

The U.S. Senate wants to hear from companies about solutions for identity and also governance administration requirements, which could lead to a potential five-year contract.

The Office of the Sergeant at Arms wants to know about contractors’ innovation methodologies. For instance, it wants descriptions about the process by which they develop and introduce new functionality to the Identity Access Management (IAM) marketplace, according to a new RFI. Company responses should include a list of technologies or businesses it has acquired to achieve its current capabilities.

The sergeant at arms asked for feedback on basic business functions and the user interface as well as connectors to current platforms, business applications, message apps and Software as a Service. Cybersecurity, training, innovation methodology, and pricing are also important aspects.

The sergeant at arms is limiting responses to the solicitation to product manufacturers and developers and will only review their responses.

The sergeant at arms released the RFI Sept. 8. Responses are due by Sept. 22
