ASRC, Xentity awarded spots on $25M geospatial services IDIQ

ASRC Federal Data Networx and Xentity Corp. have won a five-year, $25 million contract to provide the National Forest Service with geospatial services.

ASRC Federal Data Networx and Xentity Corp. have won a five-year, $25 million contract to provide the National Forest Service with geospatial services.

Through the Forest Service’s indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract, the two businesses will perform analysis and consultation, according to the award notice. They will develop innovative approaches to the service’s business requirements through the use of geospatial tools, models and analysis procedures. The services include advanced analysis of raster, vector and imagery-based data sources.

In addition, they will provide geospatial training in natural resource applications, such as active fire mapping, as well as geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, global positioning systems (GPS), and mobile field collection systems.

The Forest Service announced the award Sept. 26.
