Polaris Alpha has added former government executives Joanne Isham and Henry Muller to the defense technology contractor's advisory board.

The appointments come almost nine months after the Arlington Capital Partners investment group formed Polaris Alpha through a merger of three portfolio companies. Polaris Alpha develops technology and software for agencies in the defense and intelligence communities.

Isham's career in government includes leadership roles at agencies such as the CIA, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and National Reconnaissance Office. She is a former NGA deputy director and prior to that led science and technology programs for the CIA.

Muller spent 33 years with the Army and more recently was director of the Army's Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center organization.
