EPA taps seven for potential $115M IT services contract

Seven companies have won spots on the Environmental Protection Agency's $115 million contract for IT and information management services.

Awardees will work with the EPA to implement federal statutes and policies for IT and information management through technical and professional services. The EPA announced the winners in a July 25 award notice.

Winning companies are:

• Blue Canopy Group
• Booz Allen Hamilton
• CSRA
• Grant Thornton
• IBM
• Project Performance Company

The EPA specifically listed policies such as the Clinger Cohen Act, Government Performance Results Act, Paperwork Reduction Act, Federal Information Security Management Act and OMB Circulars in its April 19 solicitation for proposals.

Work under the EPA IT Solutions Business Information Strategic Support Services III contract will also cover areas in training, human capital management and communications support.

Blue Canopy, Booz Allen, PPC and CSRA predecessor SRA International were incumbents on the predecessor ITS-BISS II contract, according to Deltek. Other incumbent contractors Ace Info Solutions and ICF were not chosen for the latest iteration.

The new contract is for five years.
