Mymic wins Joint Staff IT services contract

Hampton Roads-based Mymic beats out four other bids for a five-year, $22.9 million Joint Staff IT services contract the Navy reserved for small businesses.

Hampton Roads, Virginia region-based contractor Mymic has won a five-year, $22.9 million contract for IT services to the Joint Staff.

The Navy received four other offers for the contract reserved for small businesses and is obligating $950,000 in funds at the time of award.

Work will take place in Arlington, Va. through June 2022.

Headquartered in Portsmouth, Mymic holds a position on the Navy's Seaport-e professional services contract. Mymic holds an additional pair of prime contracts for IT and system engineering services to the Joint Staff.

Mymic was founded in 2000 and lists its core offerings as game-based learning, simulation, modeling and computer visualization tools.
