Bastion gets potential $267M NASA safety services contract
Small business Bastion Technologies will help with safety and mission assurance functions at NASA's Marshall hub under a potential eight year, $267.5 million contract.
Houston-based small business Bastion Technologies has received a potential eight-year, $267.5 million contract to carry out safety and mission support services at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala.
NASA awarded the contract as a small business set-aside for services in support of programs such as NASA’s Space Launch System, International Space Station, flight projects, science missions and technology development projects.
The contract covers a two-year base period that starts July 1, 2017 and includes six one-year options. Bastion will work with the Marshall safety and mission assurance directorate, Stennis Space Center and SSC's Michoud Assembly Facility.
Founded in 1998, Bastion provides engineering and technical services to government aerospace and military customers along with organizations in the oil and gas sector.
