AT&T gives Dapkiewicz, Leff new public sector leadership roles

AT&T shuffles its public sector leadership ranks with new roles for 25-year company veteran Rob Dapkiewicz and Mike Leff.
AT&T has shuffled the leadership ranks of its global public sector business in a move that sees a long-time company veteran move over from its commercial business.
Nearly 25-year company veteran Rob Dakpiewicz will transition into the role of vice president for AT&T's federal civilian business. Now former civilian lead Mike Leff will shift over to VP of strategy and operations with responsibility for the public sector business' growth strategies and operations.
The move comes nearly two months after AT&T consolidated its global government and education businesses into a single global public sector unit that recorded almost $15 billion in sales last year. Kay Kapoor leads the global public sector business that captured the 25-year FirstNet contract to build a nationwide first responder network.
Prior to the public sector, Dapkiewicz led AT&T's work with commercial customers and large alliance partners. His career also includes roles in product development, regulatory affairs and operations.
