DLT Solutions has brought on former immixGroup CEO Art Richer as its new chief executive.

DLT Solutions has revealed the identity of its new CEO less than a week after reports surfaced of a leadership change at the Herndon, Va.-based public sector IT product reseller.

Former immixGroup CEO Art Richer has joined DLT as chief executive two years after he led his previous company through its sale to Arrow Electronics.

Richer held the chief executive post at immixGroup for three years prior to the sale and first joined the company in 1998 as a vice president.

CRN, a widely-read IT trade publication, first reported April 27 that DLT named former CEO and current vice chairman Rick Marcotte as acting chief executive in the wake of Alan Marc Smith’s departure from the company.

Smith joined DLT as CEO in 2015 upon private equity firm Millstein & Co.’s acquisition of the company. Marcotte moved to the vice chairman role upon that deal’s closure after 11 years as chief executive.

DLT ranked 56th in Washington Technology’s 2016 list of the Top 100 contractors at nearly $358 million in federal prime contracting revenue. The company reported $1 billion in total revenue.
