AT&T wins a potential $119 million task order to install a new cellular and Wi-Fi infrastructure for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention buildings nationwide.
AT&T has won a potential $119 million task order to help implement a new communications infrastructure for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States and Puerto Rico.
The General Services Administration awarded this task order through its Connections II vehicle for telecommunications and other networks support services.
Deltek says GSA received two offers for the task order that covers work over a seven-month base period and four option years.
CDC seeks a single managed telecommunications environment with in-building cellular coverage and Wi-Fi connectivity for both contractors and the agency’s nearly 14,000 employees.
The Connections II vehicle is scheduled to expire in October 2021. Deltek data projects a solicitation for the successor Connections III by November 2019 with an award to follow by January 2021.
