TASC picked for independent space review

Engility’s TASC unit will provide a readiness review team to the Air Force’s Space and Missile Systems Engineering Directorate under a $41 million task order contract.
TASC will provide the independent team to review space systems, ground segments and launch systems. The five-year contract was awarded under GSA’s OASIS vehicle for high-end professional services.
Work will be performed at the Los Angeles Air Force Base in California. There were five bidders for the contract.
The Space and Missile Systems Engineering Directorate is part of the Air Force Space Command. The directorate offers technical expertise around the development, fielding and sustainment of military space systems.
