Machine learning firm steps up its federal game
DataRobot, a firm that develops machine learning artificial intelligence solutions, has hired a federal sales and channel leader.
DataRobot, a Boston company that develops machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions, has hired a federal sales and channel leader.
Erin Hawley has been named vice president of public sector. She is responsible for sales, marketing and business development efforts. She’ll be working directly with government agencies as well as developing relationships with prime contractors.
Most recently, she was direction of national security programs at Cloudera.
DataRobot is focused on solutions that automate how analysts and data scientists work with data to help them create and implement more accurate predictive models.
One of the focuses in the federal market will be predicting insider threats as well as health care trends.
Besides Cloudera, Hawley has held positions at Composite Software, which was acquired by Cisco, Blackboard and Sun Microsystems.
In addition to her sales and marketing role at Cloudera, Hawley also was a liaison on Capitol Hill where she briefed members on data management, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
She is a graduate of James Madison University and is a board member of JMU’s College of Arts and Letters.
