Under the first, $5 million contract, Octo will modernize the military health records system electronic medical records for the Army’s Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care Product Management Office.
The Medical Communications for Combat Casualty program is a semi-ruggedized system of systems containing medical software packages fielded to operational forces worldwide, enabling health care providers to do their jobs more efficiently, Octo said in a release.
The company will also provide knowledge management, strategic communication planning and outreach, web properties support, acquisition management, program management and business process improvement.
Under the second, $11 million contract—a task order awarded under GSA’s Alliant Small Business contract—Octo will support the GSA Integrated Award Environment modernization effort.
The effort is a presidential e-government initiative managed by GSA that integrates cloud, open source technologies, security, agile programming and a DevOps deployment model to create a next generation award management platform, the company said.
Under the task order, Octo will provide rapid development, testing, information security, training, and user support activities for the modernization efforts.
