CACI International has won a $1.8 billion task order to provide the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization (JIDO) with deployable analytical operations, intelligence, and training services.

The cost-plus-award-fee task order was awarded under the General Services Administration’s OASIS Pool 4 contract.

CACI’s analytical operations, intelligence and training services will support JIDO’s Focused Support/Decisive Effort mission worldwide. They will work with deploying joint forces to integrate capabilities, technologies and lessons learned, the Defense Department said in a release.

The task order will supplement JIDO’s ability to enable the Defense Department to counter improvised threats. The award is part of JIDO's Enterprise Acquisition Strategy Initiative

The contract runs through October 2021.

Two companies bid on this contract, the Defense Department said.

News of the huge award had little impact on the company's stock price, which remained relatively stable at about $99 a share.

CACI declined to comment.
