Cubic Defense nets $12.6M contract to maintain data terminal

Cubic Defense Applications has won a $12.6 million Army contract to maintain the ground data terminal to support the Surveillance Target Attack Radar System.

The system provides an airborne, stand-off range, surveillance and target acquisition radar and command and control center.

Under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, Cubic will provide the Army with repairs, technical, engineering, diagnostics and field support services to maintain the terminal, the Defense Department said.

Work is expected to be completed in September 2021.

Cubic was the only bidder on this contract, which was contracted out by the Army Contracting Command in Aberdeen, Md.
