Accenture Federal Services has appointed Ira “Gus” Hunt to lead the company’s cybersecurity practice.
Accenture Federal Services has appointed Ira “Gus” Hunt to lead the company’s cybersecurity practice.
Hunt is a former chief technology officer for the CIA. He retired in 2013 after spending 28 years with the agency. While at the CIA, he helped set the agency’s strategic direction, adopt new technologies and implement the cloud.
Hunt joins Accenture from hedge fund Bridgewater Associates of Westport, Conn., where he served as chief architect. Before that, he was president and CEO of Hunt Technology LLC.
