CACI wins $40M contract to continue work on paperless processing systems

CACI International Inc. has won a $40 million contract to provide development support to the Defense Department’s Wide Area Workflow and Electronic Document Access systems.

CACI International Inc. has won a $40 million contract to provide development support to the Defense Department’s Wide Area Workflow and Electronic Document Access systems.

The Wide Area Workflow system is a secure web-based processing system designed to reduce the use of paper in invoices, receipts and payments associated with contracting.

Under the three-year contract, CACI will integrate the Electronic Document Access system with the Wide Area Workflow e-Business suite and continue to support the applications.

The application has saved the Defense Department an average of $250 million a year, the company said in a release.
