Eight companies win spots on $245M contract for engineering, technical support
Eight companies will compete for task orders on a $245 million contract to provide engineering and technical support to the Naval Research Laboratory Information Technology Division.
Eight companies will compete for task orders under a $245 million contract to provide engineering and technical support to the Naval Research Laboratory Information Technology Division.
The companies are:
- Computer Integration & Programming Solutions Corp. (Bethesda, Md.)
- Fulcrum (Centreville, Va.)
- IOMAXIS (Fredericksburg, Va.)
- Praxis (Alexandria, Va.)
- Zurka Interactive (Vienna, Va.)
- Exelis (Herndon, Va.)
- Parsons (Pasadena, Calif.)
- Sotera Defense Solutions (Herndon, Va.)
The Naval Research Laboratory Information Technology Division explores development and conducts research and advanced technology demonstrations to improve the conduct of military operations, according to the Naval Research Laboratory’s website.
Most of the work under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract will be performed at the laboratory in Washington, D.C., while the remainder of the work will be performed at the contractor locations. Work is expected to be completed in May 2021.
The Naval Research Laboratory received twelve offers for the contract, the Defense Department said in a release.
