Three win spots on $809.5M contract for process improvement services

Three companies have won spots on a potentially $809.5 million contract to support the Naval Supply Systems Command Business Systems Center.

The winners are:

• Herdt Consulting
• PSI Pax
• SAIC

The base value of the cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price contract is $147.2 million.

NAVSUP BSC requires process management and data services to support current and future Navy requirements in the areas of data governance and analysis, business process re-engineering and management, and business system engineering and integration, the Defense Department said in a release.

Under the contract, the companies will provide obtain process improvement, reengineering, management and data support services, to include Navy Enterprise Resource Planning sustainment.

Work will be performed in Mechanicsburg, Penn., and Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed in March 2017, or in July 2021 with options.

Fifteen companies bid on this contract, which was contracted out by the Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk.
