BAE Systems wins $75.3M contract for technical, engineering work

BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services has won a $75.3 million contract to provide technical and engineering services in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.

BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services has won a $75.3 million contract to provide technical and engineering services in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.

The work under the contract will support the division’s Combat Integration and Identification Systems Division, which provides the fleet with the ability to identify and track cooperative and non-cooperative targets in both combat and air traffic control for ship and shore environments, according to a sources sought notice.

The contract will also support the governments of Japan and Australia. The contract will also support Lockheed Martin under a commercial services agreement, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will include system integration, installation testing and evaluation, in-service engineering, logistics, repair and validation, training, laboratory maintenance, quality assurance, and technical management.

Work will be performed in St. Inigoes, Md., and is expected to wrap up in April 2020.
