The Army is looking for companies that can continue the operations for the Army Knowledge Management Enterprise Services (AKO-ES) platform.
The Army plans to renew the hardware maintenance and software support found under the current contract to ensure continuity of operations for the existing AKO-ES platform.
AKO-ES provides web-based information services to more than 2.4 million Army and Defense Department customers, including retirees and family members. Services include email, instant messaging, directory, discovery and single sign-on capabilities.
For now, the Army wants to hear from companies about potential sources or solutions for the AKO-ES’s same current technical functionalities.
The Army released the source sought notice Jan. 22. Responses to the notice are due by Feb. 12.
